Mozambique, located in Southeastern Africa, is officially known as the Republic of Mozambique. Mozambique is a member of the Commonwealth of Nations and the Community of Portuguese Language Countries. Agriculture is a promising sector and the chief cash crops include sugar, copra, tea, cashew nuts and tobacco. However, most of the workers are involved in subsistence farming and grow crops such as corn, cassava, potatoes, coconuts and sunflowers. It is unknown that how much mineral resources the country has. However, minerals being mined are coal, marble, bentonite, gold, bauxite, granite and gemstones. |
